Observations: No objections
Application Number: CH/25/0254
Address: Land to the rear of 49 Etchinghill Road, Rugeley
Development: Application for permission in principle for the erection of 1 or 2 detached dwellings
Observations: The Parish Council objects to this planning application for the following reasons:
• The site is located within the West Midlands Green Belt where there is a presumption against inappropriate development, and no special circumstances have been demonstrated to exist.
• The development would be harmful to the Cannock Chase National Landscape (formerly Cannock Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty).
• The erection of new property on the site would constitute overdevelopment.
• Insufficient detail has been given in the application about the specific details of the properties that are proposed.
