Advertisement Banners in the Green Belt
The Committee noted correspondence sent to the Planning Services Manager at Cannock Chase Council (dated 20 July 2022) asking for a response to a longstanding planning enquiry which had previously been directed to the Development Control Manager.
The Planning Services Manager apologised for the lack of a response to the Parish Council’s request for clarification on the policy relating to the display of advertisement banners in Cannock Chase AONB. He advised that the enforcement officer would be asked to respond and would be in touch shortly.
A further email was sent to the Planning Services Manager making clear that advertisement banners were no longer on display and that clarification was sought on the District Council’s Policy on the display of advertisement banners in the AONB for future reference.
A response is awaited to this enquiry.
Appeal Decision
The content of the Appeal Decision on application reference APP/S3405/W/22/3292014 was noted.
